Weza Power is inviting qualified and experienced companies to submit their technical and financial offers for the provision of offloading services for 28 containers of 20-40 ft loaded by 960 drums of electrical cables to be delivered to Weza Power's warehouse in Gitega, Burundi.
1. Scope of Services
The selected service provider will be responsible for the safe and efficient offloading of steel poles from 28 containers, including:
Mobilization of suitable equipment, machinery, tools and qualified personnel;
Offloading of drums of cables from containers;
Handling and safe placement/stacking of the drums of cables at the designated warehouse area;
Provision of qualified and licensed equipment operators and workers;
Compliance with all applicable HSE requirements;
Protection of the containers, drums of cables, warehouse and surrounding facilities during the operation;
Coordination with Weza Power's site/warehouse team and the delivery schedule;
Demobilization of equipment and personnel upon completion.
The 28 containers will be delivered in 2 different batches as per the below delivery schedule, and the service provider shall demonstrate its ability to manage the different delivery phases and maintain sufficient resources during any waiting period between batches.
Lot 2: Expected to arrive in Mombasa on 28 October 2026 and in Gitega around 15 November 2026.
Lot 3: Expected to arrive in Mombasa on 6 November 2026 and in Gitega around 21 November 2026.

Availability of qualified and experienced operators and workers;
Valid insurance coverage applicable to the proposed activities;
Valid equipment inspection/maintenance records;
Valid operator driving/operating permits or licenses;
Proven HSE procedures and ability to comply with Weza Power's site safety requirements;
Capacity to mobilize and perform the work according to the required delivery schedule.
3. Financial Offer
The financial offer should clearly indicate:
Unloading Price per container,
Hiring cost per day and per equipment
Manpower-Labor cost
VAT cost
Payment terms
The bidder shall clearly identify any assumptions, exclusions, standby/waiting charges, mobilization/demobilization costs, fuel costs or other additional charges.
